On an island, a sunset over the sea feels like it should be easy. In Mallorca, it depends on where you stand and when. The sun sets in the north-west in summer and in the south-west in winter, so a spot that works in July can leave you looking at a hillside in December.
Some of these places are wild cliffs with nothing but the horizon, others are popular beaches , small coastal villages or a terrace with a drink. For music and cocktails, have a look at the beach clubs.

A rocky headland above a turquoise cove, just over the hill from Port d’Andratx. No buildings in front of you, only open sea.
