How to Get to Fornalutx 

Driving is the easiest and most flexible way to reach Fornalutx, particularly if you are planning to explore several villages within the Tramuntana mountains during the same day. 

Coming from Palma take the Ma-11 road toward Sóller, which passes through the Sóller Tunnel and provides the quickest route into the valley. From Sóller, the road climbs gently through citrus groves before arriving in Fornalutx just a few minutes later. 

A more scenic alternative is the Ma-10 coastal road, which connects Valldemossa, Deià, and Sóller. This route takes longer but offers some of the most spectacular views on the island, including cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean and winding mountain landscapes. 

Public transportation is possible but less convenient. Many travelers combine the historic train from Palma with a short onward journey to Fornalutx: 

Palma → Sóller: historic wooden train (about 1 hour) 

Sóller → Fornalutx: taxi or local bus (around 5 minutes)

Parking in Fornalutx 

The historic center of Fornalutx is largely pedestrian, visitors normally park just outside the main entrance rather than within the village itself.
